- This is a part-time position teaching 2 periods of grade 7 Spanish, with the anticipation of being a permanent substitute at the building for the remainder of the day.

- Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and implement inclusive instructional practices.
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and support progress toward student goals.
- Use assessment data and progress monitoring to inform instruction and provide targeted interventions.
- Implement evidence-based literacy practices aligned to the Science of Reading.
- Apply Universal Design for Learning (UDL) and inclusive practices to create equitable and engaging learning environments.
- Partner with families, related service providers, and staff to support student success.
Essential Skills and/or Experiences: - Experience in elementary Integrated Co-Teaching (ICT) setting preferred
- Demonstrated use of data-driven instruction and progress monitoring to inform teaching and support student growth.
- Knowledge of specially designed instruction, inclusive practices and Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
- Training and/or experience implementing the Science of reading and evidence-based literacy practices.

| 5th Grade Specialist (School Psychologist Certification) | 20-26/27 | 5th Grade Specialist (School Psychologist Certification) Primary duties and Responsibilities: - Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations to determine students' eligibility for special education and related services.
- Administer, score, and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and adaptive assessments.
- Chair the Committee on Special Education (CSE)/Individualized Education Program (IEP) team.
- Develop written evaluation reports with data-based recommendations.
- Consult with teachers, administrators, parents, and related service providers to support student success.
- Conduct push-in SEL lessons and other activities that support building and district wide belonging efforts.
- Support vertical transition between grades and buildings.
- Provide counseling services for students with social, emotional, behavioral, and academic needs.
- Conduct Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and assist in developing Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs).
- Monitor student progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement evidence-based interventions.

- Develop and deliver standards-based lessons in areas such as nutrition and wellness, food preparation, consumer literacy, personal finance, career exploration, and life skills.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and connected.
- Utilize instructional strategies that support diverse learning needs and encourage student engagement.
- Assess student learning and use data to inform instructional decisions.
- Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning opportunities.
- Participate actively in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to analyze student learning, share instructional practices, and support continuous improvement.
