Job Description

9th-grade self-contained and ICT English classes, and Resource Room

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is for a 9th grade Special Education English teacher. It consists of self-contained English 9 and ICT English classes. There is also 1 period of resource room.

Essential Skills and/or Experience:

Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills as well as special education experience.

Preferred Skills and/or Experiences:

Experience working with High School students, serving as a member of the Committee on Special Education (CSE), contributing to the development, review, and the implementation of IEPs

Dates of Leave:

Effective approximately November 2, 2026, to approximately February 1, 2027

 

 

 

Job Qualifications

Required Certification:

Secondary Special Education and English or SOCE certification required.
