POSITION: Custodial Worker I
LOCATION: Northport Middle School
HOURS: 3:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.
General Description:
Under the direct supervision of the Head Custodian, the Custodian performs a variety of moderate to heavy manual tasks to maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the school building and its surrounding grounds during an assigned shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain floors, desks, furniture, windows, and interior walls to ensure a hygienic environment.
Scrub, mop, wax, and polish various floor surfaces to preserve their condition.
Dust and polish furniture; perform minor maintenance such as tightening bolts and nuts.
Relocate furniture and equipment between rooms and designated areas as needed.
Empty trash and garbage receptacles, washing them as necessary.
Perform additional related duties as assigned to support the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the facility.
Compensation: Contract rate $64,082 with a highly competitive benefits package
