Job Description

Northport High School Grades 9-12

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Candidates must possess foundational knowledge of the sport of field hockey.
•  Must be able to lead drills, demonstrate skills and be able to provide insight and guidance to the head coach and all of our student-athletes.
• Teach the fundamental skills of the sport of field hockey.

Preferred Skill and/or Experience:

• Played the sport in High School and/or College
• Previous coaching experience preferred

 

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• NYS Teacher or coaching certification required
• Certification in First Aid required
• Certification in CPR/AED and Concussion Management required
• Child Abuse Awareness Certification
• School Violence Prevention and Intervention
