Job Description

POSITIONS: Automotive Mechanic III

LOCATION: Bus Depot

HOURS: 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

REPORTS TO: Department Administrator

RESPONSIBILITIES: In accordance with Automotive Mechanic III Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS:        

A bus mechanic with the ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on buses and district vehicles as follows:

• Tune ups, brake adjustments, front end work
• Replaces oil filters, cleans air filters
• Tires checks, undercarriage check
• Drain and refill crank cases
• Check and lubricate transmission
• All phases of electrical & mechanical diagnostics
• Check and maintain a/c systems
• Does all related work pertaining to district vehicles as required
• D.O.T. prep & maintain D.O.T. records

COMPENSATION: $93,258 annually with highly competitive benefits package
