Job Description

As per the Agreement between the Northport-East Northport School District and the UTN, the following extra paid coaching positions are available for the 2026-2027 school year (Spring):

Extra Pay Coaching Assignments — Northport Middle School Spring Coaching Positions 

NMS Spring sports start March 29, 2027, through June 4, 2027

Baseball

Head Coach

Assistant Coach

Lacrosse

Boys Head Coach

Boys Assistant Coach

Girls Head Coach

Girls Assistant Coach

Softball

Head Coach

Assistant Coach

Tennis

Boys Head Coach

Track

Boys Head Coach

Boys Assistant Coach

Girls Head Coach

Girls Assistant Coach

Job Qualifications

Qualifications and Requirements:

• NYS Teacher or coaching certification required
• Certification in First Aid required
• Certification in CPR/AED and Concussion Management required
• Child Abuse Awareness Certification
• School Violence Prevention and Intervention

Preferred Skills and/or Experiences:

• Previous coaching experience at this level and/or played collegiately preferred.
