Job Description

Districtwide School Cook Manager

10 months — September through June 

Monday through Friday–7 hours daily

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan menus, prepare meals, supervise cooks & food service workers and ensure policies and procedures are followed.
• Direct and participate in the preparation and distribution of school meals plan daily and weekly menus.
• Order food and supplies
• Record-keeping inspections of kitchens to ensure that food is being served, prepared and presented appropriately
• Ensure that all department of health guidelines are being followed

Essential skills and/or experience:

• Must have school food service, supervision and leadership experience

Job Qualifications

• Must have a School Food Service Manager Certificate
