Job Description

We are seeking reliable, flexible, and dedicated Permanent Substitute Teachers to support our K–12 classrooms. This role is ideal for certified educators who are passionate about maintaining continuity of instruction and fostering a positive learning environment in the absence of regular classroom teachers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• deliver instruction and manage classrooms across various grade levels (K–12) and subject areas as assigned
• follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher
• maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• adapt to different classroom settings and student needs throughout the school day
• communicate effectively with school staff and administration
• uphold school policies and procedures at all times

 

 

 

 

Job Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements:

• valid New York State (NYS) Teaching Certification (required)
• certification may be in any subject area or grade level (K–12)
• must be available Monday through Friday 
• strong classroom management and communication skills
• ability to be flexible and responsive in a dynamic school environment
• prior teaching or substitute teaching experience preferred
